Project V Shortlisted for Industry Design Award

Exciting news! For the first time in our history, Caterham was shortlisted for the Best Exterior Design at the Car Design News People Awards, which took place at The Londoner Hotel on Thursday 7th December.

Since its debut at Goodwood in July 2023, Project V has continued to capture hearts and minds with its bold, and beautiful, design. Not our opinion, but yours – just check the Instagram comments if you don’t believe us. Turns out, the best of the best from the world of car design share our sentiments.

Caterham was shortlisted alongside the likes of Range Rover, Ford, Volvo, Hyundai and Citroen for the Best Exterior Design Award of 2023. The awards, now in its 10th year, focus on the people behind the cars and the creative talent that brings the cars to life. All awards are judged by a variety of designers from OEMs big and small, offering a unique insight into the design process.

Anthony Jannarelly, Chief Designer commented “As a team we are very proud to have secured this industry recognition for Caterham, in our 50 th anniversary year as an automotive brand.

“For Project V to be shortlisted for Best Exterior Design amongst several other major OEMs is a brilliant endorsement for the car. Since we unveiled the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, there has been a fantastic response from customers and media.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the design process for this car, and I must also pay tribute to Italdesign, for sharing their unquestionable experience as part of the project and bringing the car to life.”
