Kumschick Open Day: Our Swiss Dealer Kicks Off The New Year

What better way to start a new year than with a party?

Kumschick Sports Cars, our longest established official Caterham retailer in Switzerland, will be kicking off 2020 with their annual open day.  From owners and enthusiasts, to friends and family, everyone is welcome to come along and join the fun.

The team will be serving a variety of refreshments throughout the day, ensuring there is something for everybody.  Parking is free and is available around the venue.

As well as getting to know our Swiss team, you'll be able to find out more about what’s available in the Caterham line-up - including the exciting 275 which packs a small, yet powerful, punch - and the monstrous 485 with 237PS, weighing just over 550kg and hitting 100kph in 3.4 seconds.  The 485 is also the most powerful EU6-compliant Seven we've ever made, revving all the way up to 8,500 rpm. 

Plus, there are a few treats to take a look at.  Displayed throughout the event will be Ayrton Senna’s original Lotus 97T Formula 1 racer, a car which piloted him to Seven pole positions and beat the competition by over a minute at the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix.

Thing is, the guys at Kumschick don’t do things by halves – so you’ll see not one, but two of Ayrton Senna’s legendary cars.  Joining the event will be the epic 1987 Lotus 99T, a Formula 1 car which helped Senna win two races and six podium finishes before he moved across to McLaren.
