The Role:
With the continued growth of our Gatwick dealership; an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced paint prepper and polisher to join our dedicated team.

We have a full-time position available for an experienced paint preparation and polisher to join our enthusiastic and dynamic Production team at Caterham Cars.
Not simply working in your normal Bodyshop, this role will expose the successful applicant to a wide and varied range of work with our iconic product. The role will be based at our dealership in Gatwick and reports directly to the Team Leader. You will be working as part of a small team; however, you must be able to work under your own initiative. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the preparation of the cars before painting, polishing, and finishing of our painted cars as they leave the paint booth to a high standard and in accordance with Caterham’s specifications.

The Location:
Caterham Gatwick, Dialog Fleming Way, Crawley RH10 9NQ

The Hours:
The core hours of this role will be 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility may be required when the workload dictates. Overtime will be paid at an agreed rate.

Criteria guide:

  • A relevant, Automotive OR Bodywork NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds
  • ATA Accredited
  • A full Driving Licence
  • Self-motivation
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours and weekends when required
  • A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
